ABOUT FRONTLINE WILDFIRE DEFENSE

At Frontline Wildfire Defense, our mission is to protect homes, families, and communities from wildfire disasters. Our innovative wildfire defense system allows homeowners to track wildfires, receive critical alerts, and actively safeguard their properties using a remotely operated fire protection system. With multiple layers of redundancy, our system hydrates homes and surrounding areas to prevent ignition from flying embers—the #1 cause of structure loss during wildfires.We are a fast-growing team that has already achieved significant milestones in protecting homes across all Western States. Our team includes experienced engineers, product designers, and industry experts, and we are looking for a Payroll Specialist to help drive our efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll, which includes multi-state payroll.
• Must understand and have experience with Non-qualified Stock Options (NSO) and Incentive Stock Options (ISO).
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and best practices for payroll processing.
• MUST be proficient in Quickbooks Online and in QB Time (formerly TSheets).
• Understand how the Job Costing module works in QBO.
• High numerical aptitude.
• Experience with Expensify, GSuite, MS Office a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work and documentation.
• Multi-task w/ ease, work well under pressure, and strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills.
