This is a remote position. Client Overview: Our client is growing spa company in the U.S. dedicated to providing exceptional wellness and beauty services. Job Overview: We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for our client's service-based team, including hourly staff, commission-based providers, and employees receiving tips. This role is crucial to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing. Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for hourly staff, commission earners, and tip-based employees on a regular schedule (biweekly) Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations Maintain accurate employee and payroll records Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, deductions, and tip reporting Requirements Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of US payroll processing experience Experience with Booker and Gusto platforms is a MUST Knowledge of payroll regulations, including handling tips and commission-based pay High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
