SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • An IPASS payroll qualification.

Experience:

  • Relevant experience in a similar payroll, HR, or accounting role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage third parties to deliver agreed outputs to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Previous experience working on international payroll

Skills/Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of payroll processes and accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Strong verbal, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

ROLE PROFILE - INTERNATIONAL PAYROLL SPECIALIST

The payroll specialist is responsible for the preparation and delivery of payroll services to our employees in the APAC, EMEA and LATAM regions. It is a key role which involves collaborating and building relationships internally and externally with our colleagues, partners and advisors to deliver our promises to our customers, both individual and corporate. This role reports to the Payroll Team Lead and has no direct reports. This is a remote position located in Dublin, Ireland with a requirement to go on site once a month

KEY DUTIES

  • Process monthly and fortnightly payrolls in EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions through our third-party payroll vendor.
  • Collate and process HR & Benefit changes, including new hires, leavers, transfers, LOA, salary changes, sales commissions, bonuses, terminations, pensions, medical benefits, BIK, tax exemptions, and payroll taxes.
  • Review output reports, including starters and leavers documents.
  • Prepare control books, reporting, reconciliations, and validations.
  • Ensure net payments are processed on time.
  • Meet all monthly and annual tax, social security, pension reporting, and third-party payment deadlines.
  • Post payroll journals accurately for our GL team.
  • Assist in completing various internal and external audits (IFRS, Local Statutory, Tax Audits, etc.).
  • Manage the payroll mailbox and respond to emails professionally.
  • Address payroll queries promptly and build relationships with external payroll providers and colleagues.
