  • 5+ years of in-house, full-cycle payroll experience
  • In-depth understanding of U.S. payroll and tax processes required
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations

Responsibilities
  • Assist the payroll team in processing multistate, in-house payroll
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of wages, salaries, and benefits to employees
  • Track and deduct garnishments and other special payroll deductions
  • Help manage, process, and report PTO (Paid Time Off)
  • Handle off-cycle payroll when needed (i.e. bonuses, pay adjustments, and termination paychecks)
  • Ensure timecards for all employees have been approved within the deadline, make adjustments to employee timecards and validate as needed
  • Maintain employee records related to payroll, including time sheets, attendance records, and tax forms
  • Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, insurance premiums, and retirement contributions
  • Assist with year-end and tax reconciliation, auditing, and reporting
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner
