[Job Description] An Aerospace manufacturing company located in Seattle, WA is currently looking to hire a Payroll Specialist / HR Coordinator. The client is looking for a professional who thrives as part of a collaborative team. The candidate will work directly with the Controller as well as the HR Manager. (Depending on relevant qualifications) Location - Seattle, WA (100% Onsite) Schedule – Standard Morning Shift Monday - Friday (40 Hours a Week) Contract Duration – 6 Months Contract To Hire Guaranteed W2 Employment Through Aston Carter [Summary of Key Responsibilities] [Human Resources - 30%] Assists in performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Assists in the administration of health and welfare plans and payroll to ensure accurate processing and record-keeping. Assists with the coordination, planning, and implementation of company events. [Payroll - 70%] Assists with accounting books and records. Assists with the weekly payroll of 100 employees. Assists with the coordination and support of ad hoc projects as assigned. [Qualification Requirements] 2+ years of Payroll processing experience. Comfortability handling payroll of 100+ employees. HR experience (bonus). Infor VISUAL or other ERP (bonus). Exceptional personality and comfortability handling new hires for orientation, site tours, meetings, etc. Excellent attention to detail. Critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritise assigned tasks. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.
