Huawei Hungary is growing! As a result, we're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our well-established HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the payroll function in a multicultural environment. Please note that this is an on-site position with 5 days in the office! Our office location: 116-118. Váci út, Budapest, 1133. In this role you will be responsible for: Payroll Processing: Accurately calculating salaries, wages, overtime, and bonuses on a regular cycle (e.g., weekly, monthly). Assisting in the Compensation and Benefit field. Data Management: Maintaining accurate employee information, updating deductions, and managing payroll databases. Managing fringe benefits-related tasks and projects. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations and employment laws. Inquiry Resolution: Handling employee queries regarding paychecks, taxes, or benefits. Giving advice to the Managers in connection with employment and other labor law connected issues. Auditing and Reporting: Preparing payroll reports for management and supporting internal/external audits. Requirements As our ideal candidate, You will have: At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Business Management or equivalent field. Minimum 3 years' demonstrated experience in Payroll (tax and audits) or Compensation & Benefits. Ability to apply Hungarian Labor Code and work with employment related taxes. Understanding and adherence to the GDPR guidelines. Experience in HR related projects. Ability to work under time pressure, setting priorities, managing workload and deadlines in a changing environment. Native Hungarian and strong English knowledge both written and verbal. Problem solving approach, good cooperation with the current HR team. Ability to work accurately and consistently with attention to detail.
