As we expand, we’re looking for a Payroll & HR Specialist to help ensure our employees are paid accurately and supported professionally.
Position Summary:
The Payroll & HR Specialist will oversee weekly payroll processing for all company locations and assist the HR Manager with a variety of human resources functions. This role demands accuracy, confidentiality, and a proactive mindset to support both operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Requirements:

Payroll Administration:

  • Process weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees across 14 locations
  • Maintain and update employee records in the payroll and HRIS systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
  • Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefit-related adjustments
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to finance and leadership teams
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, timekeeping, and tax documents

HR Support:

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications
  • Help coordinate employee relations initiatives, training sessions, and compliance tracking
  • Maintain organized and confidential employee files and records
  • Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location or high-volume setting
  • Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, ADP, Paychex)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and labor laws
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in general HR support is a plus
