In this pivotal role, you will manage the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all state and federal regulations. You will be responsible for processing payroll for all employees, handling payroll-related inquiries, and maintaining complete and accurate payroll records. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively under deadlines. You will play a crucial role in supporting our team by ensuring that our employees are compensated accurately and promptly, contributing to a motivated and satisfied workforce. Responsibilities Process payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Maintain payroll records, including employee time and attendance data. Handle payroll inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate with HR to ensure that employee information is up-to-date and accurate. Prepare and submit payroll reports and filings in accordance with regulations. Assist in the audit of payroll processes as needed. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role is required. Strong understanding of payroll and tax laws. Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
