Position Overview:

• Both permanent full time and part time will be considered.
• Flexible hours (for example: choose to start your day between 6am and 10am, work late some days and shorter on others)
• Working on payrolls for multiple subsidiaries.
• Multi-currency and multi-national work for both our Canadian subsidiaries and US subsidiaries
• Corresponding with employees in other departments to obtain details of expenses
• Employee reimbursement processing, data entry, and being a trusted auditor for reimbursements
• Reports to executive level (CFO and COO)
• Opportunity for role to expand. The more we trust your accuracy and understanding, the more challenging tasks will be provided
• Using newest accounting systems, tools, and innovations. The department changes every year to handle our growth
• Watching for unexpected monthly fluctuations that management should be made aware of
• Occasionally assisting clerical department, adding to variety
• Genuine appreciation for the accuracy you provide which allows all employees to trust in company pay calculations
• Your own office to be comfortable, play music, etc.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail
• Medium or stronger computer skills
• Does not get sloppy during repetitive tasks
• For security, a thorough police records check will be required
• No specific requirements for formal education or industry experience. We evaluate each applicant based on merit rather than formalities

Nice To Have:

• Previous experience in multiple payroll departments
• Previous experience with a technology or engineering company
