As a Corporate Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll operations and maintaining data integrity. You will process payroll, audit time records and ensure that all new hire and change form entries are accurately recorded. What you will be doing To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Processes payroll within Company assigned frequencies, which includes compiling payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and withholding union dues, and preparing and issuing paychecks. Processes timely and accurate wage assignments, garnishments, child support orders, and employment verifications. Audits all system entries for new hires, status and compensation change and termination submissions with the support of the HR Data Entry team. Responds and resolves payroll inquiries in a timely and compliance manner and within prescribed methods. Analyzes payroll reports such as Certified Payroll, Job Cost Association, Gross Payroll Registers, Vacation Reports to ensure accurate and timely tracking and accruals. Supports reconciliation of outstanding payroll checks with the corporate Accounting team. What we are looking for High School diploma / GED required. Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred. 3+ years’ experience with in-house payroll processing. UKG and/or Dayforce experience preferred. Union, Construction, Prevailing Wage payroll knowledge preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products preferred.
