Description Title: Part-Time Payroll Support Staff Idaho Falls, ID About the Role We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Assistant to ensure the accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. This essential role involves maintaining payroll records, verifying timekeeping data, and ensuring all payroll activities comply with company policies and applicable laws. The ideal candidate must be organized, highly trustworthy, attentive to detail, and proficient in handling sensitive and confidential information. This position will function as a help to the payroll specialist as well as other HR duties as assigned. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age with a mature, professional demeanor. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative support. Basic understanding of payroll processes and tax compliance. Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally. Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and 10-key data entry. Commitment to long-term employment. Preferred Skills Experience with payroll software (e.g., Paylocity, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar). Familiarity with timekeeping systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Adeptness at following established procedures and checklists. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes. Work Schedule Core Hours: Tuesday (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Wednesday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), and Thursday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including a one-hour lunch break each day. Flexible Hours: Monday and Friday hours may be required as needed, depending on payroll submission dates. Additional Hours: May be required at year-end and during peak payroll processing periods. Responsibilities
