The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires proficiency in financial software and a strong understanding of payroll management practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role in corporate accounting or governmental accounting environments.
  • Proficiency in financial software and accounting software; experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payroll management processes, tax regulations, and accounts payable functions.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and maintain discretion at all times.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees at all levels.
