Following the implementation of Definitiv in 2024, we’re seeking a skilled Payroll expert to lead a comprehensive system review and audit, while managing our weekly and fortnightly payrolls.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with Finance and HR, this standalone role blends hands-on payroll processing with a strategic and operational focus - ensuring our payroll system is optimised for accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

• Process weekly and fortnightly payrolls for 180+ employees across multiple NSW entities.
• Conduct a comprehensive review of our payroll system, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance.
• First point of contact for payroll queries.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, awards, and regulations.
• Maintain employee data in Definitiv and manage multiple time capture systems.
• Monitor leave accruals and entitlements.
• Prepare payroll reports for workers compensation and payroll tax.
