JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in payroll management and accounting, with proficiency in various payroll systems and software. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and effective communication with employees regarding their payroll inquiries.

EXPERIENCE:

• Payroll: 2 years (required)

• Maintaining and managing Timesheets and related records for all employees in physicaland electronic form for Canadian, US & International employees
• Ensuring the hours reported in the Timesheets are within the scope of the company policies
• Research and resolve issues for missing information when processing files
• Preparing letters and other documents for employees during their employment such as credit check applications and upon termination such as ROE, reference check
  -Assist in the transition of payroll providers from current manual processes/ software to ADP
  -Accurately running and uploading payroll using software such as Pay works - Canada & ADP- US & International on a bi-weekly basis
  -Coordinating Garnishment notices in Canada and US
  -Year end mailing of T4 (Canada), W2 (US)
  -Managing the recruitment portal such as Indeed platforms & initial screening of prospects for some hiring
  -Other Admin duties such as Bank deposit and bank file upload, Mail sorting and routing, Credit card and gas statement reconciliation, Parking tickets payments and as decided by Management
