Our client is looking for an experienced full cycle payroll professional to join the organization to support full cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees

Responsibilities

• Experienced full cycle payroll professional
• comfortable handling a high volume hourly environment
• Previous union experience considered an asset
• Strong legislative compliance payroll knowledge - staying up to date with any relevant changes and updates
• Ability to communicate across departments, respond professionally to payroll-related inquiries or direct them to the appropriate contact
• Familiar with Time and Attendance softwares, able to handle timesheet verification and audits when necessary
• strong excel skills
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification considered an asset
