If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in delivering high-quality, detail-driven work, we encourage you to apply. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL DO * Process accurate and timely multi-state payroll * Maintain payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and tax documentation * Audit and review employee timesheets for accuracy * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations * Partner closely with HR, Accounting, and operational teams * Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end processing * Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and urgency * Drive process improvements and system enhancements * Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee data ---------------------------------------- WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * 2+ years of payroll processing experience * Strong knowledge of payroll laws and compliance requirements * Experience with HRIS and payroll systems * Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills * Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills * Strong communication and customer service abilities * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification * Experience with ADP, UKG, Workday, or similar platforms * Multi-state or multi-entity payroll experience * Background in logistics, transportation, maritime, or shared services * Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field ---------------------------------------- WHY JOIN TOTE RESOURCES?
