About the Role The Payroll Specialist is responsible for coordinating payroll activities for Saudi Arabia and other EMEA subsidiaries and branches of the Veeam Group. This role operates as part of a team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with local laws and company policies. What You’ll Do Coordinating payroll processing for Saudi Arabia and other EMEA subsidiaries/branches in collaboration with the EMEA Payroll Manager. Liaising with local payroll service providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll information flow. Preparing and submitting monthly payroll input files, reviewing calculations from local service providers, monitoring tax and social security liabilities, and resolving payroll queries. Collaborating with HR to address and resolve employee payroll inquiries promptly and comprehensively. Supporting external annual audits by providing documentation and clarification on payroll-related matters. Participating in payroll process improvement and enhancement projects as assigned. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an institution accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Education. Professional certification in payroll, HR, or accounting (e.g., SOCPA, CIPD) is an advantage. Additional training in Saudi labor law, GOSI, or payroll systems is highly desirable. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an international payroll function within Saudi Arabia. Experience in a Shared Services Centre is an advantage. Native Arabic speaker: proficiency in English (written and spoken) required; knowledge of an additional European language is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills. Bonus Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently, proactively, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative team player. Proactive in understanding and assimilating payroll and order processing procedures. Capable of completing and prioritizing daily tasks with high accuracy and minimal error. Commitment to ongoing self-improvement and learning. Adaptable to change and able to reprioritize tasks as needed. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
