We’re now looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Global Payroll team in Tel Aviv, Israel. In this role, you’ll help ensure the smooth and accurate delivery of payroll processes, working closely with HR, Finance, and external partners to provide a seamless experience for our employees. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of payroll experience who’s eager to grow within a global and fast-paced tech environment. What you’ll be doing Day-to-day in this role you’ll: Own the end-to-end payroll process for Israel, including data collection, validation, and full preparation of payroll for submission to our outsourced payroll vendor Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs and compliance with local regulations. Verify payroll reports, reconcile variances, and help resolve employee inquiries related to salary, benefits, or deductions. Assist in ensuring compliance with local tax and labor laws (including VAT, income tax, and social security). Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation to support audits and reporting requirements. Partner with our global payroll and HRIS teams to ensure data integrity and alignment across systems (e.g., Workday). Identify opportunities for process improvement and support ongoing payroll transformation initiatives. Participate in payroll-related projects and provide support for new system implementations or enhancements. Our humble expectations 3+ years of hands-on experience in payroll, preferably within a tech, retail, or multinational company. Knowledge of Israeli payroll practices, tax regulations, and labor laws. Experience working with outsourced payroll vendors — advantage. Familiarity with HR or financial systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, or Har-Gal). Valid Israeli Payroll Accountant Certification – required Strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a keen eye for numerical accuracy. Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude.
