As the Payroll Student, we will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside experienced and talented Payroll professionals and take part in interesting and challenging work assignments. • Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
• Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday)
• Term length: 12 months
• Term start: January 2026

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees by addressing their payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Assign appropriate payroll personnel to emails using the payroll inbox and the Oracle HCM Help Desk Service Request system
• Verify, enter, and maintain employee records in HR Central, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
• Record employee changes in the benefits module
• Assist in UKG time and attendance entries
• Administer HUB Allowance program
• Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures
• Run, review, and prepare payroll reports and distribute for corrective action by the payroll team
• Other administrative tasks as assigned or required, including but not limited to document creation and filing

• Currently enrolled in your 1 st , 2 nd , or 3 rd year of a Human Resources or Accounting degree program
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong work ethic, motivated, takes initiative and effective time management and communication skills
• Proficient in Word and Outlook
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and data manipulation/reporting skills
