PAYROLL SUPERVISOR

Administration
Reports To: Director of Finance
Schedule: 40 hours/52 weeks, Supervisor
Salary: Commensurate with Supervisor Agreement
Anticipated Start Date: January 5, 2026
Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s payroll functions to ensure accurate
and timely processing of employee compensation. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant laws and
regulations, resolving discrepancies, maintaining payroll records, and collaborating with the Human Resource
department. The Payroll Supervisor also implements process improvements and ensures adherence to company
policies and deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
  • Minimum of four years of experience in school payroll and benefits
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers required. Working knowledge of Windows based programs andGoogle (word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software), required
  • Demonstrated high level of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and establish positive relationships with colleagues, schoolstaff, and the kids and families of FHPS
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or
feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, jump, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear (in a quiet or
noisy environment). The employee must be able to lift and/or move a minimum of 20 pounds and occasionally
exceeding 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to
