Position Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist for a short-term temporary assignment. This role is ideal for an individual with multi-state payroll tax experience who can ensure compliance and accuracy across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verify employee tax filings across all 48 states.
Assist with the setup of local tax accounts where needed.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll tax requirements.
Identify discrepancies and resolve payroll tax issues promptly.
Qualifications
3–5 years of payroll and tax experience preferred.
Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax regulations highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Details
Temporary position, estimated 3–4 weeks.
Competitive pay between $23–25 per hour.
On-site schedule, Monday–Friday, standard business hours.
