We are seeking a payroll expert with passion for accuracy, leadership, and process improvement. The Payroll Team Leader to join our Finance Department will play a vital role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and timely payroll operations while leading and developing a high-performing team. Also, the payroll team leader will act as a very trusted partner to other stakeholders for all payroll related concerns and a strategic into developing strong payroll policies and reporting frameworks. Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Review payroll calculations, adjustments, and payroll imports prior to the finalization of payroll registers. Manage the payroll calendars, advisories, deadlines, and cut-off dates. Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team to deliver accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing. Conduct training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team. Attend to complex and escalated payroll queries or concerns. Provide expert guidance and insights related to payroll concerns to employees, managers, stakeholders and other departments. Review and develop payroll policies, procedures, and ensure internal controls and processes are in place. Ensure continuous improvement to current practices, processes, systems development and reporting. Ensure statutory and tax compliance towards compensation are followed. Lead the preparation of Annualized Compensation of employees and the release of their BIR 2316. Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements. Support Senior Accountants and the Finance Manager on the substantial reports as needed and assist during internal or external audit. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
