✅ Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience in a bureau.
✅ Experience with BrightPay and Sage Payroll is highly desirable.
✅ Strong knowledge of payroll processing, statutory payments, and deductions.
✅ Ability to import payroll data and ensure data accuracy.
✅ Experience with Irish payroll and Teachers’ Pensions is a strong advantage.
✅ Understanding of payroll legislation, including RTI, auto-enrolment, and statutory reporting.
✅ Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing payrolls accurately and on time for multiple clients.
  • Using BrightPay and Sage Payroll software to manage payroll operations.
  • Importing payroll data into the payroll system efficiently.
  • Handling payroll calculations, tax codes, and deductions.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation, auto-enrolment, and pension schemes.
  • Managing Irish payroll and Teachers’ Pensions (preferred).
  • Resolving payroll queries and supporting clients with payroll-related concerns.
  • Liaising with HMRC, pension providers, and third-party platforms.
