As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing all aspects of payroll from start to finish for a diverse range of clients. This includes the accurate payment of salaries, the administration of statutory allowances, and managing auto-enrolment pension schemes. You will play a vital role in ensuring payroll is delivered efficiently and compliantly, while maintaining strong, positive client relationships. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A genuine interest in payroll and eagerness to learn.
  • Solid numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficiency in IT with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Previous experience or understanding of payroll processes is advantageous but not essential.
  • A degree or qualification in a relevant field is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the preparation and processing of client payrolls accurately and on time.
  • Helping to maintain and update employee payroll records in the system.
  • Supporting the team by handling payroll queries from clients and providing solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and deadlines related to payroll (FPS, EPS, P45’s starter and end of year declarations and P60s).
  • Aiding in the maintenance of payroll-related documentation and ensuring it is organised and up to date.
