We’re looking for a Payroll & Treasury Analyst to provide Payroll and Treasury support to all countries across Asia. The role will be the main lead owning the Payroll, Bank and Petty cash processes across Asia, reporting to the Regional Financial Controller based in Singapore.

YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education/Experience: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or have equivalent work experience, with a professional accounting/auditing qualification being a plus.
  • Relevant Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll and treasury accounting.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken, particularly in English.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Adaptability: Show an ability to adapt to highly dynamic work environments.
  • Credibility & Discretion: Exhibit a high level of credibility and capability in handling sensitive information.
  • Proactive Engagement: Be able to proactively communicate with and engage stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess effective planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Quality & Detail-Oriented: Be quality-oriented with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Asia Payroll Processing: Coordinate with People Services and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations across Asia.
  • Finance Ownership of Payroll: Review and approve payroll computations from vendors.
  • Facilitate On-Time Payments: Manage bank uploads to ensure timely employee disbursements.
  • Payroll Data Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll data and upload it to the ERP system.
  • Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Conduct monthly reconciliations of payroll and employee-related balance sheet accounts.
  • Manage Treasury Processes: Maintain bank mandates and update Trezone, including logging guarantee requests.
  • Petty Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile petty cash.
  • Monitor Cash Forecasting & Bank Reconciliation: Oversee weekly cash forecasting and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Primary Wipro BPO Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for the Wipro BPO vendor regarding cash and bank matters.
  • Petty Cash & Cash Advance Ownership: Manage petty cash and cash advance processes, ensuring valid spending and timely expense liquidation.
