PBX Operator Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled PBX Operator Work location: 8160 Walnut Hill Lane Dallas, Texas 75231 (Perot Building, Lower Level) Work environment: Both In-House and Remote; Approximately 50%25 Remote/50%25 In-House Work hours: Full-time, Monday - Thursday (9am-730pm) Department Highlights: · Great Management · Opportunities within Texas Health Connect · Great Pay Here’s What You Need: · High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED) · One year of experience as a Dispatcher, Communication Specialist, Customer Service Representative or similar position in a communication or dispatch center (REQUIRED) · Two years of Hospital experience (PREFERRED) What You Will Do: · Answer incoming calls to the hospital switchboard in a timely manner, directing calls to the correct location or assisting with needed phone numbers · Answer questions regarding basic operation of telephone system · Transfer calls to appropriate departments for problem resolution as needed · Overhead pages to locate physicians and relay approved information to employees and visitors · Document all page requests either automatically through paging system and/or manually using written records Mostly the first means of contact into the enterprise which affords the experience w/the community we serve offering quality service, executing all levels of Emergency Alerts Operating, and maintaining a web based, multi-line, high-tech phone system A holistic view of the entire enterprise as we work with it, walks into a wealth of knowledge and problem solving Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee: · Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits. · Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice. · Strong Unit Based Council (UBC). · A supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth.
