Responsibilities
  • Configures and installs new equipment or replaces existing user equipment on multiple network enclaves
  • Ensures proper configuration and performance of installed equipment
  • Integrates desktop workstations and associated equipment throughout the network
  • Loads approved OS images on new or existing systems
  • Conducts basic connectivity troubleshooting in support of new installs or replacements
  • Conducts life-cycle site surveys, planning, and design for small projects
  • Conducts quality control to verify conformance to industry and government standards
  • Assists with installation/de-installation of telephone desktop equipment
  • Assists with rearrangement/relocations of telephone desktop equipment
  • Assists in developing a list of materials and estimates installation timelines
  • Updates associated wiring, circuit, and electrical schematics/diagrams
  • Coordinates with other IT Support, Engineers, and Administrators to complete tasks
  • Completes assigned tasks based upon severity, workflow, and time constraints
  • Documents project status changes and updates ticket notes daily with work performed
  • Communicates clearly, respectfully, and maintains courteous and friendly rapport
