About the Role: The PCA/HHA/CNA position at The Terraces at Brookmeade is a vital role focused on providing compassionate and personalized care to residents in a supportive living environment. The primary goal is to assist residents with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity while promoting their independence. This role requires close collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members to deliver holistic care tailored to each resident's unique needs.  Schedule is Days (7 AM-3 PM) and Evening Shift (3 PM-11 PM) with Every Other Weekend Minimum Qualifications: * Valid certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). * Completion of state-mandated training and competency evaluation for PCA/HHA/CNA roles. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience working in a senior living or long-term care facility. * Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems * Demonstrated skills in dementia or Alzheimer’s care. Responsibilities: * Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. * Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff promptly. * Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and engaging environment. * Help with feeding assistance as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. * Follow care plans and protocols established by healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and effective care. * Document care provided and any observations accurately and timely in compliance with facility policies.
