Description
We are seeking an experienced compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential daily living support to medically fragile adults in their home. The ideal candidate will assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. We provide online and onsite training. This position in Fulton County is an awake overnight position 8pm - 8am    3 days a week - every other weekend.    Duties, include but not limited to - Provide direct support to clients in their home - Assist individuals with ADL's including, Housekeeping, Bathing, Grooming, Toileting, Hair washing, and personal hygiene and companionship. - Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions, assist with eating as necessary. - Turning and position of the client -Transfer and ambulation -Dressing or undressing the client - Drive client to appointments or outings as necessary - Offer care giving services with empathy and respect - Appropriate reporting of changes in client status -Ability to work with Pediatric and Adult population Qualifications - High school diploma, GED or higher education  - Must be 18 years or older - Valid Georgia drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation  -Full vaccination including Seasonal Flu, Covid, T-Dap (Tetanus) and Hepatitis B or proof of immunity. - Complete Personal Care training program and competency with GACCP and/or with our agaency - CPR and First aid certification - Maturity and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job - Knowledge of care giving practices and techniques -Have sympathetic attitude toward the care of children, the sick and elderly -Must be reliable, flexible with time, and pays close attention to detail as it relates to patient care 
Responsibilities
The Personal Care Assistant will provide direct support to medically fragile adults in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living such as personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility support.
