JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. SKILLS

  • Proven experience in caregiving or related fields, particularly working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of emergency medicine practices and ability to respond effectively in crisis situations.
  • Familiarity with patient care standards and best practices in a nursing home or similar setting.
  • Experience working in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing care plans and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as directed and assist with catheter care when required.
  • Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Support individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs through compassionate care techniques.
