JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Experience in specialized areas such as PICU, geriatrics, or trauma centers is highly valued.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with specialized areas such as PICU, geriatrics, Level I and II trauma centers, inpatient care, clinic settings, emergency medicine, medical-surgical units, teaching hospitals, or operating rooms is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required at the time of application.

  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
