REQUIREMENTS

• VA PCA Certificate (or CNA license)

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help with mobility and transportation needs, including transferring clients to and from wheelchairs or beds.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
• Monitor and record client health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Administer medication as prescribed and assist with basic medical tasks under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and functional.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
• Facilitate communication between clients, family members, and healthcare providers.
