Title: PCB Design Engineer

Skills:

  • 5+ years of PCB Design experience using Altium and/or Cadence/Allegro.
  • Knowledge of IPC, JEDEC, IEEE, and other electronic standards.
  • Experience in creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints in libraries.
  • Experience interpreting datasheets and schematics to generate netlists and proper constraints in the layout design.
  • Experience in designing multiple PCB types:
  • SiP
  • HDI Design
  • Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex Design
  • Wire Bonding Design
  • Aluminum Backed Design
  • Experience in designing high speed differential circuits, power circuits, analog and RF circuits.
  • Experience in PCB layout design constraints for mixed/RF signal, signal impedance control, memory interfaces, power distribution, heat dissipation, and optimization for EMI performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience of PCB layout design using Altium and/or Cadence/Allegro.
  • Experience with SVN, GIT, P4, or similar version control systems.
  • Experience with Altium Concord Pro or similar library management systems.
  • Proven track record to design & manage all aspects of the printed board design
Responsibilities
  • Work with the Hardware Engineering team to provide Schematic and PCB board designs. Layouts range from simple to complex, multi-layer printed circuit boards containing analog, digital, RF, and power components.
  • Liaise with PCB vendors to select proper materials, stack-ups, obtain impedance specifications, DFX rulesets, assembly requirements, and resolve any manufacturing related issues.
  • Create and manage PCB documentation including fabrication and assembly packages.
  • Work with document control department to release fab and assembly packages into company-wide PLM system.
  • Collaborate in a team environment across engineering disciplines.

Skills:
