Job Description
As a PCB Design Engineer, you will design, troubleshoot, and optimize PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies).
Collaborate with the engineering team to define optimal PCB design requirements.
Create schematic designs and translate them into the physical PCB design based on end-user requirements.
Develop and test prototypes and integrated circuits.
Prepare design documentation for production.
Reevaluate the design process to resolve issues or address client and consumer feedback.
Customer technical support.
Skills
Knowledge in FPGAs and VHDL and/or Verilog programming.
Knowledge in ASIC designs.
Experience in troubleshooting hardware issues (repairing and reworking boards).
Experience in component procurement and cost reduction.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail..
Clear and concise communication skills for documentation and collaboration with manufacturers or customers.
Strong initiative with a proactive and innovative approach.
Effective collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Post-Graduate Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience with CAD tools, specifically Altium and/or PADS.
Minimum of two years of experience in routing high-speed PCB designs.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC requirements and product certification
