Job Title: PCB Designer & CAD Processor
Company: Forwessun – Woodend Industrial Estate, L24
Position Details: Permanent, starting immediately
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week;
Monday to Thursday – 08:30 to 17:00
Friday – 08:30 to 14:30
Starting Salary: £33k - £40k
Plus, performance related bonus

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Experience working within a similar role
• Experience focused on PCB layout design using Altium Designer
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
• Ability to understand and communicate technical information
• Good organisational skills
• Accuracy / attention to detail
• Problem solving techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Data analysis & interpretation skills

• Helping to plan, layout and create new multilayer printed circuit board designs using Altium Designer.
• Library part creation and schematic capture.
• Liaising with the testing team, ensuring compliance is in line with company and customer requirements.
• Generating information required for quotations and liaising with the sales team
• Running testability analysis reports.
• Extracting information from Gerber files
• Processing board CAD information to prepare customer quotations and software design files
