PCB LIBRARIAN AND LAYOUT ENGINEER (ALTIUM) – TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE

Location: San Jose, CA (ON-SITE)
Time Duration: 3-6 months with potential for longer duration
Ayar Labs Platform Engineering team is seeking an Altium PCB librarian and layout engineer to assist in the development of PCB hardware infrastructure. The candidate should have prior experience developing PCB component footprints in Altium and have knowledge of critical PCB footprint parameters. Flexibility, communication and attention to detail are critical skills to be successful in this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of PCB Design and Assembly process
• Familiarity with Altium PCB design software
• Microsoft Office and project management tool skills
• Strong technical communication

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of mechanical assembly and CAD tools
• Experience with PCB layout design
• Experience with lab work and soldering
• Experience with common EE lab tools such as multimeter and oscilloscope
  Hourly wage: $55-$60/hour

• Design and verify PCB component footprints for complex
• Document PCB library revision status through common project management tools
• Communicate work progress and issues clearly to engineering team members
