Description Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for a full-time, permanent night-shift opportunity in Hermitage, Tennessee. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all clinical and operational functions within the Progressive Care Unit. In partnership with the nursing leadership team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures while serving as a clinical and leadership resource for staff. This role supports a Progressive Care / Telemetry unit caring for patients with chest pain awaiting stress testing or cardiac catheterization, hypertensive urgency, CVA, TIA, altered mental status, sepsis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous BiPAP. Patients may be on titratable drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix, Protonix, and others. The CNC is expected to provide hands-on leadership, assist with staffing coordination, and support quality outcomes throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities: • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care • Assist with admission and discharge processes • Collaborate with subject matter experts and nursing leadership to improve outcomes and service • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance staff performance and engagement • Assist with staff scheduling and unit operations Schedule & Shift Details: • Full-Time • Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) • Rotating Weekends (2 weekends per month; Friday–Sunday) Compensation: • Hourly Pay Range: $34.24 – $45.75 (Based on years of experience) • Night Shift Differential: $3.75/hour • Weekend Differential: $6.00/hour • Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 • Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (Must live more than 50 miles from facility) Requirements Licensure & Education: • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required Certifications: • Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS/CPR) required within 30 days of employment start date • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 30 days of hire Experience: • Previous Charge Nurse experience REQUIRED • Progressive Care / Telemetry experience strongly preferred Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
