Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a PCV Driver/Valet at Dawsongroup bus and coach, you’ll be delivering and collecting buses and coaches with care and professionalism (and no passengers). You’ll keep our fleet looking its best and running smoothly, making sure every vehicle is spotless and roadworthy before it goes back out on hire.

  • Driving passenger-carrying vehicles safely and professionally to meet schedules.
  • Inspecting vehicles and checking tyres, lights, and oil, to ensure they’re roadworthy.
  • Valeting buses and coaches inside and out to a high standard.
  • Recording driving hours and reporting any incidents promptly.
  • Following procedures for breakdowns, accidents, and emergencies.

You take pride in your work and have a keen eye for detail. Whether it’s making sure vehicles arrive in top condition or handling paperwork correctly, you’re all about doing the job right. You’re reliable, self-motivated, and know how to get things done without needing to be micromanaged.

  • PCV licence and Drivers CPC – essential.
  • At least 1 year of experience driving a bus or coach – confident and professional behind the wheel.
  • Physically fit – able to carry out cleaning, maintenance, and vehicle checks.
  • Tech-savvy – comfortable using a computer or handheld device.
  • Team player – supportive and works well with others
