Join the Hunter Auto Group Team as Our Next PDI Accessory Technician! Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and take pride in quality work? Hunter Auto Group is looking for a PDI Accessory Technician to support our Subaru, Hyundai, and Volvo dealerships by preparing new and used vehicles for delivery. This role focuses on performing manufacturer-specific pre-delivery inspections and installing OEM-approved accessories. Automotive experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude! As our PDI Accessory Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Subaru, Hyundai, and Volvo vehicles meet manufacturer standards and exceed customer expectations before delivery. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new and used Subaru, Hyundai, and Volvo vehicles in accordance with OEM and dealership guidelines Inspect vehicle systems, fluids, tires, lights, safety features, and driver-assist technologies to ensure proper operation Verify vehicle software updates, warning indicators, and onboard systems as required by manufacturer standards Identify, document, and report any issues requiring repair or correction Install OEM and dealership-approved accessories Follow manufacturer installation procedures and torque specifications to ensure warranty compliance Test installed accessories for proper fitment and functionality Complete all inspection checklists and documentation accurately and timely Work closely with the service, parts, and sales teams to ensure vehicles are delivery-ready Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Previous automotive, mechanical, or accessory installation experience (OEM dealership experience is a plus) Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with modern vehicle technology Ability to read and follow Subaru, Hyundai, and Volvo service procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record A proactive, can-do attitude with a drive to succeed What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Health insurance with $0 cost available Dental and Vision insurance Wellness Program Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Employee discounts on Subaru, Hyundai, and Volvo vehicles, service, parts, and accessories Professional growth and manufacturer training opportunities Positive and team-oriented work environment Referral bonus Employee appreciation events Closed Sundays!
