Description:
Elomatic operates internationally in the Marine, Industry and Pharma industries. We are looking for an experienced PDM (Product/Project Data Management) software administrator to strengthen the Design Applications team in the Digital Transformation department. In particular, the team establishes, maintains, and develops software environments for investment projects and supports projects and software users. In addition, team members participate in internal development projects related to the use of software to improve user experience, efficiency and quality.
In this role, together with key persons in the business and PDM software vendor, you will participate in establishing the PDM environment for an international project and take it in use for this and future international projects. In particular, your area of responsibility covers the management and maintenance of Contact Software’s Contact Elements (formerly known as CIM Database) product environment and software. Project and user support, including troubleshooting, are important tasks in your daily work. You also have the opportunity to participate in organizing user trainings. Seamless cooperation with the software vendor, users and other stakeholders helps you and Elomatic succeed.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
The person we are looking for already has experience in PDM software and its management, as well as a proactive attitude. We hope that the applicant has experience in the Marine industry as well as an understanding of shipbuilding and shipbuilding design processes. The position requires excellent communication and cooperation skills, fluency in English, decision-making skills, willingness to learn new things and adaptation to changing situations. As the utilization rate during office hours is high, the readiness for possible partial maintenance work outside office hours is seen as an advantage.
Most of the team members work at Elomatic’s head office in Turku, so it would be the most desirable place to do the work, but other Elomatic offices are also possible. Part of the work can be done remotely by agreement.
