Peace Meal Driver Job Description Peace Meal Driver prepares materials, loads, and delivers food items to communities from the central kitchen. Coordinates daily with the Kitchen Supervisor for correct number of meals and proper loading. Assist with meal preparation and cleaning of kitchen. Driver arrives at the kitchen at 6:45 AM, route leaves at 7:30 AM. Upon return to the kitchen after the route, the driver assists with kitchen cleanup for any remainder of the shift ending at 12:45. Department: Peace Meal Hours: Part-Time, 30 hours a week required: Location: Oakland, IL Shift: Monday - Friday starting at 6:45am - 12:45pm ( no nights, weekends or holiday work) Required: Food Handlers within 30 day of hire, Valid IL Driver's License and Automobile Insurance Pay: Based on experience, starting at $16.14 an hour Responsibilities Assists in general kitchen responsibilities such as food preparation, food storage and cleaning as directed by the Kitchen Supervisor., Gathers and packs appropriate items for delivery, including milk, bulk food, packaged food, supplies, paperwork and other items as directed by Kitchen Supervisor., Loads items in vehicle in appropriate order for delivery., Provides general cleaning of food carriers, vehicle and storage area.
