Peak Time Assistant - 5hrs per week £28,221 - £29,436 pro rata. (Approx. £4,537 - £4,732 per annum)  We are looking for highly organised and self-motivated candidates who have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and who enjoy a challenge! No two days are the same in our libraries and as a Peak Time Assistant, you will be responsible for managing enquiries from library members and visitors in person and on the phone, assisting with digital access and the processing, shelving and promoting of our stock. You will assist with weekly events and activities including singing rhymes and reading stories with our youngest members at Baby Bounce and Story Time sessions. You will be timetabled to work on Saturday, but flexibility is required to help cover any gaps in the service.  We welcome all and all are welcome! Our libraries are bustling hubs of activity, whether it be sounds of songs in the air from our Baby Bounce sessions, to the delightful hum of children practising their reading at our Reading Buddies sessions.
