Description Peat, Inc. is hiring Loader/ Screener Operators for our locations in Cromwell, Floodwood, and McGregor. The Loader/Screener Operator is responsible for maintaining the condition of the peat bog to ensure efficient operations, loading trucks, and screening material. Primary Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication on assigned equipment to meet professional standards and manufacturer recommendations. Conduct daily inspections of equipment and vehicles before use. Complete minor repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles, coordinating parts ordering and documenting parts and labor used. Operate a front-end loader to load trucks and screen material at the screening plant. Utilize farming equipment as necessary to support operations (e.g., tractors, dozers) and ensure the bogs are prepared for harvesting. Ensure that drainage systems are clear of obstructions and functioning properly, and that bogs are ready for harvesting. Assist in organizing the storage of equipment, vehicles, and materials to maintain easy access throughout the peat farming area. Help with product movement and storage, including loading and unloading within facilities and maintaining inventory documentation. Support compliance with all internal safety regulations, as well as OSHA and MSHA requirements. Continuously seek methods to control and reduce costs. Perform other duties as assigned. HOURS: 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (overtime available after 40 hours and on Saturdays). Join our amazing team with outstanding benefits! Equipment operating experience preferred. Screen plant operating experience preferred.
