Job Title: Two (2) Permanent Full-Time Pedagogical Connector Location: Frequent travel to centre locations in London, Sarnia, Dorchester, and Huron County, with occasionally working from Administration Office located at 550 Fanshawe Park Rd, London ON N5X 1L1, with Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, work schedule between hours of 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Start Date: As Soon As Possible About the Role London Bridge Child Care Services Inc. is looking for two individuals to join the team as Pedagogical Connectors. The position exists to strengthen the health, alignment, and pedagogical integrity of the centres by working alongside the Centre Lead(s) in a reflective, accountable partnership, ultimately supporting the overall culture of the centre. Both positions are new positions to the organization. The Pedagogical Connector operates as a coach/mentor, supporting and challenging practices so that decisions, environments, and relationships consistently align with the organization’s core values, pedagogical orientations, pedagogical principles, vision and mission statement. This role must ensure that they are providing tools and resources to help leaders grow, rather than replacing or acting in the role of a centre lead. This job description outlines the expectations and responsibilities for the Pedagogical Connector. It is intended to be used as a general guide. However, this role may change based on needs of the Program team and organization. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Pedagogy. About London Bridge London Bridge Child Care Services is a non-profit umbrella organization comprised of 15 licensed child care centres in London, Sarnia and Huron County. We provide loving, individualized care and education for children ages 0-12 years in group care settings. Key Responsibilities Centre Support & Pedagogical Insight • Conduct regular centre visits to observe relationships, environments, and pedagogical practices. • Gather insights from visits, centre audits, 360 reviews, and organizational data to understand centre functioning. • Collaboratively conduct and interpret centre audits across key areas: child relationships, adult relationships, environments, pedagogical practices, and family engagement. • Support Centre Leads in identifying priorities and making informed decisions about resources, time, and focus. Leadership Development • Mentor and coach Centre Leaders through reflective dialogue and constructive feedback. • Support leaders in translating organizational values and pedagogy into everyday practice. • Clarify roles, expectations, and responsibilities to strengthen leadership effectiveness. • Adjust level of support based on centre context and needs. Organizational Alignment • Ensure centre practices align with organizational vision, core values, and priorities. • Identify gaps and opportunities for growth and support leaders in addressing them. • Build leadership capacity rather than implementing change directly. Conflict Resolution & Community Wellbeing • Facilitate dialogue and support mediation when conflicts or tensions arise. • Assist Centre Leads in navigating complex interpersonal and team situations. • Promote environments where educators, children, and families experience belonging, dignity, and thoughtful care. Accountability & Performance Support • Monitor leadership practices to ensure ethical practice, safety, and organizational integrity. • Provide feedback and guidance when responsibilities or commitments are not being fulfilled. • Implement structured support plans when necessary to restore clarity, accountability, and growth. Organizational Contribution • Facilitate or participate in committees, professional learning, and organizational initiatives. • Contribute insights from centre work to support system-wide improvement. Pedagogical Connectors typically support up to three centres, depending on context and complexity. Qualifications • Post Secondary Education in Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy, Child and Youth Care, Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field focused on child development required • Strong experience in leadership preferred • Demonstrated ability to grow leadership in others • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to facilitate professional learning or workshops an asset • Strong conflict resolution skills • Vulnerable Sectors Check • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (WSIB approved) • A valid driver’s license and daily access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage How To Apply: The posting deadline will be Monday April 13, 2026.
