Are you passionate about shaping the future of education? 42 Vienna is looking for a dynamic and innovative Pedagogy Co-Lead to join our team. Tasks Your Mission Lead and innovate our educational efforts to enhance 42 Vienna’s learning experience for our students. Execute a learning model that is closely aligned with the evolving needs of the tech industry. Prepare our students for the real-world challenges Tasks (to be carried out in cooperation with the head of pedagogy) Develop, implement, and oversee the curriculum and educational programs, ensuring they are up-to-date, effective, and in line with our philosophy of learning Speak in front of a large audience (internal and external presentations, AMA, Community meetings, etc.) Actively debate and take actions needed to achieve the aimed learning outcomes Control and adjust the efficiency of the pedagogy on our students by defining and evolving a concept suited for our students’ progress and goals, and by developing and improving a cheating detection tool Performing staff evaluations Develop, organize, and supervise pedagogical events (exams, rushes, coding-related challenges), workshops, and hackathons that further develop the skills needed to succeed in the real world Analyze and present data about our students that helps us identify trends or issues with our different cohorts. Propose and implement improvements based on the data Handle and supervise tutors (a group of students helping out during the piscine) Requirements The strengths we are looking for: Being able to easily interact with different kinds of audiences(pisciners, students, team, partners, etc.) Excellent communication skills (fluency in English) and preferably knowledge of German Self-organization and the ability to understand what to prioritize Being able to work in a team Previous coding experience and ideally, some experience in the field of education & learning The skills we are looking for: C, Go, C++, Python, knowledge of Docker, network architecture, DevOps Knowledge of the 42 curriculum: the Piscine, the pedagogical model, and the projects (having finished the CC is mandatory) Fluency in writing and speaking in English, and preferably knowledge of German Please include your 42 login name in the cover letter.
