Pedagogical leadership is about supporting teaching and learning. It includes creating a supportive environment of pedagogical practice which views a continuum of learning through exploration, play and inquiry. Through a collaborative partnership, the pedagogical lead will foster an engaging environment to support moving into a culture of inquiry approach where educators are viewed as co-learners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of a diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE), registered and in good standing with the College of ECE.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for Early Years.
• Strong communication skills, confidence, strategic thinking, hard work and dedication.
• Current certification in Standard First Aid – Level ‘C’ Infant/Child, and HIGH FIVE Principals of Healthy Child Development is required or willing to attain for individuals working with Kindergarten and School Age children.
• Criminal Reference/Vulnerable Check Clearance.
