WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: * Someone who graduated from an accredited dental assisting program. * A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients’ care. * Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player. * Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures, including general anesthesia. * Clean the patient’s teeth. * Fluoride application * Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic). * Provide hygiene and diet education. * Take impressions. * Schedule follow-up exams. * Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately. * Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms. * Parents consults-discuss treatment plans. * Clean and sterilize instruments. * Lab work. * Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area. * Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines. * Participate in marketing endeavors * Write letters to be sent to referrals.
