Responsible for rendering technical patient care and assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Experience: No experience required Licensure/Certifications: Must be State Certified as one of the following: EMT-B EMT-C EMT-ST or EMT-P. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Physical Demands Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, humidity, cold, heat, radiation, outdoor climate, blood/body fluids, infectious disease, noise and dust. Compensation The pay rate for this role starts at $16.00 per hour/annually. New hire compensation will be determined by previous work experience and/or education. Onboarding Requirements Background checks and pre-employment health screenings will be conducted on all new hires prior to employment. All safety-sensitive positions with direct patient interaction also require a drug screen.
