SearchPlus HR is excited to announce a position for a Pediatric ER physician to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of healthcare, providing urgent medical care for children facing a wide range of acute and emergent health challenges. You will be expected to deliver care with both expertise and empathy, ensuring that every child receives the best possible treatment in a supportive environment. Responsibilities: Conduct prompt assessments and triage of pediatric patients in the emergency department. Diagnose and treat various emergencies including respiratory issues, trauma, and infections. Stabilize patients and perform necessary medical procedures. Work in concert with a team of pediatric specialists, nurses, and support staff. Provide clear communication to families about their child's care, treatment options, and progress. Document all medical care and patient interactions in the electronic medical record accurately. Stay engaged with continuous education and professional training opportunities. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Completion of a Pediatric Residency or Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Active state medical license to practice. Experience in an emergency department setting is preferred. Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families. Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments. Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with pediatric emergency protocols.
