Overview Established practice Competitive compensation and benefits package – Including signing bonus, relocation, 401K match, CME allowance, and time off Pediatric Subspecialty Support: Pediatric Radiology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Infectious Disease, Neonatology. Other support: General Surgery, Orthopedics and many other subspecialties available for consultation 12-bed pediatric inpatient unit with brand-new remodel Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination Affiliated with a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Responsibilities Average daily census of 5-7 in summer and 7-10 in winter (combination of newborn nursery and inpatient) Round on unassigned newborns in newborn nursery (no NICU or Level 2 nursery responsibilities), circumcisions, ED and direct admissions of pediatric age patients, ED consultation when requested No delivery attendance required. High risk deliveries are attended by in house NICU. Tertiary hospitals located 90 miles North and South with visiting subspecialists Average 10 shifts per month in 3-4 day increments with balanced weekend and holiday coverage In house hours from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. On-call taken on a 1:3 rotation 3-4 shifts at a time with in-house Family Practice Resident coverage.
